I’m Colin Warren and currently in an academic role in the School of Medicine at Deakin University in Victoria, Australia, based at the Waurn Ponds Campus in Geelong. I’m responsible for the management and implementation of the online learning environment (Deakin Studies Online) and eLearning technologies and systems for the School.
My interests include the use of new technologies to enhance learning and provide authentic learning experiences for students. My current research interests are social media, mobile devices and ePortfolios. I’m also keen to investigate appropriate types of professional development to support academic staff and how social software applications can be used to support teaching and learning.
